Beach Babies

Hi Everyone,

I have another finished Scrapstars page to share with you. In this class, the talented Kathy Rogers showed us how to create texture with corrugated card, hessian, paint and stencils.

It doesn't have a title as such, but this picture shows my babies on the beach with their cousin around thirty years ago - I don't believe it!!!

We also altered flowers and plaster embellishments with paint and gave them a pearly finish, then added some sticky words. When I got home, I couldn't resist adding a few more bits and bobs, like the wooden anchor and some cork pieces. My photo was very small, so I had to add some extra hessian and some book paper to fill out the space, but I grunged it up to make it look deliberate!

Thanks for visiting my blog today, see you again soon. :o)

30 years eh! It's amazing how the time goes. Love the colour and texture you've achieved here.
Wow! I love this Annie! It looks so atmospheric! The green in the background coordinates perfectly with the colour tones of the photo. Beautiful layering! I first thought it was digital. You must be pretty chuffed with this!
