Toot toot!

Hello and welcome to my second Tuesday Tutorial - actually it's a couple of days early because we're going to be away until Wednesday and I can't work out how to schedule a post for a future date, although I'm sure it's possible ... aaah well, probably nobody's going to ready it anyway! :o)
This week I want to show you how to turn toilet rolls into something gorgeous - and it only takes about half an hour :o)
You'll need about four empty rolls and some scrap card - I had some packing card, printed on one side, white on the other
Then you need some patterned papers - I used the free paper pack in issue 68 of Scrapbook Magazine, which was the Merry & Bright Collection by Kate Hadfield - but you can use up any scraps you have
Then I added in a few bits from my stash - not a lot, just some washi tape, scrappers floss, embroidery thread, ribbon from last year's pressies, Stickles, Chalk Ink, brads, buttons, twinkly pompoms and a book ring. But you can chuck in whatever you like.
There are lots of tutorials on YouTube for Toilet Roll Mini Albums, but I found this one was really nice to follow, although I went quite a way "off piste" as usual! Anyway, this is how mine ended up
The little tags pull out so you can add photos or messages and you could tuck other bits n bobs in the pockets - how cute is that? In next to no time for next to no money :o)
