WOYWW 239

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a happy and relaxing few days over the Christmas week, whatever you were doing and wherever you were doing it, and I wish you all a happy, healthy and creative New Year. What will it bring us, I wonder?

Anyway, back to the point - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday? If you would like to share your workspace with the world and have a little peek at what everyone else is up to, just pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground and join in the fun - but be warned; you may get hooked!

Nothing much going on on my workdesk this dark and drizzly Wednesday, as my workroom is still full of Big Hairy Son who has been spending a few days with us for Christmas. It's been lovely, and said BHS has been helping me to revamp my blog - what do you think of the new look?

I have managed to squeeeeeeeze in some cuttin and stickin at my temporary workspace on the end of the dining table and my BHS has been joining in! He decided he'd like to learn to crochet and picked it up in five minutes flat. I wasn't allowed to take a photo of him for my blog, but here is his handiwork so far ...

Impressive start - now he just has to decide what it's going to be ...

Ok, I'm off to Julia's to have a lovely potter around and see what everyone else has been up to!

Thanks for visiting today, see you again soon :o)xxx

I laughed at your description of BHS taking over your craft room because my eldest (also big and hairy) took over mine!! He's gone back to Cardiff Uni now hence why I'm having a mega sort out :-). He did really well with the crochet...obviously has that sort of brain/co ordination. I'm not a natural crocheter myself but I get there in the end!
Give us a shout if you need t hexagon addy. I've done 6 over the past couple of evenings and am REALLY enjoying using up all my odds and ends :-)
Thanks for the fun, supportive comments..it's been good t get to know you recently! Happy New Year :-)
Hugs, LLJ 29 xx

BHS here! The crochet doesn't look all that neat in person. Give me a week and I'll make a crochet house!

Doesn't the new blog design look lovely though?

I'm impressed by your BHS's new crochet skills, Annie! I'd love to see the finished product. Happy New Year and WOYWW! #82
Hi Annie had to pop back and say thanks for being my latest encourager will link over soon as post next very languid, ennervating weather here in Oz. So have to get in mood :D

Oh and reason like your new blog look is cos it is so legible!

...I really LOATHE the dark black backgrounds and struggle to read them,... I highlight background in blue so can read them but makes pickies look yuk :D

Awe, that's such a great job for his first time! I've never tried it but really want to. AND I have been in the same predicament about my space - my christmas company took over ;)
Thank you for your visit and a very happy new year to you! xoxo
