Hi everyone,
Today I thought it would be fun to show you the valentine I made for my Lovely this year, using some of my February Counterfeit Kit. Here's the front of the envelope ...
I used a sheet of patterned paper from the G45 Mother Goose 12x12 pad, layered a piece of pp from the MME Lost & Found "Record It" 6" paper pad, added a paper doily and some chipboard banner stickers from the MME Chalk Studio collection which I mounted onto scraps of red pp, then garnished it with a bunch of flowers. Here's the back ...
I've added a single red rose and one of the DIY chipboard hearts from my Counterfeit Kit.
It may seem a bit floral for a man, but my John loves flowers and does a much better job of arranging them then I can - and I think the red/white/black combo stops it from being too girly.
Inside the envelope is a real playing card - the Ace of Hearts for my No. 1 of course!
On the reverse of the card I added one of our favourite photos of our wedding day in 2011 ...
... I added some tiny alphas to spell out the name of our "First Dance" track and finished it off with a sprinkle of Prima Sugar Dot Hearts. The idea is that the card is small and robust enough to keep in his wallet - I might have to make another one for myself now! Love you John Boy <3
Thanks for popping in today :o)xxx
