WOYWW #252

Hi Everyone,

Well it's an overcast What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - maybe it's all that air pollution that was on the news - so my desk looks a bit dingy this week ...

I've plonked a drawer full of card blanks there, as I have Big Plans to use them up, along with 3 drawers full of paper scraps and 2 drawers full of assorted toppers and embellishments which I've somehow acquired but will never use on a scrapbook page - so the idea is to turn all this into cards which I can actually use, or even sell for "cheradee" or something ... I will need to get a bit faster though if I'm to get through this lot some time this century!

These just arrived in the post too, so I may be temporarily distracted from my Big Plan ...

Mary Anne had this brilliant idea - to fill these cool little needle-tipped bottles with various media such as acrylic paint and ink and use them to write with - genius! So I just had to have a go as well and I'm really looking forward to experimenting with different paints, inks and glues to see how they work.

If you would like to show us what's happening on your workdesk, or just check out what everyone else is up to, pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground to join in the fun. See you there!

Thanks for popping in today :o)

Weren't you fast in jumping on that idea! :) You will have fun with them I'm sure - such a good price too for so many - although the opening is quite small getting paint from a wide-hole tube in there is a pain. Can't wait to see how YOU inspire ME now....

:)

Happy WOYWW!

OK...so I actually got to taking a photo or two today....but that's it!!! Still, one step at a time, right & one step closer to actually getting a post up...does it have to be posted ON the Wednesday, I wonder??? Anyways, your desk looks a tad more exciting than mine & those needle tip bottles...can't wait to see what you end up with!!!

You're doing the paper/card equivalent of me and my scrap busting! I love using up all my bits and pieces and if it helps someone then so much the better :-)
Those needle tips bottles have a faintly worrying surgical look about them, lol!!!Have fun experimenting :-)

so first thing I had to do was click on mary anne's name LOL Those little bottles look lethal! But interesting at the same time. Hmmm.

I went through all my scraps and donated last month. So nice to have a fresh start on collecting scraps. LOL Creative Blessings! Kelly #97
Given the speed at which I acquire new stuff that has to be played with I think my files of scraps etc are pretty safe!! Where DOES it all come from LOL? Good luck with the master plan - and I hope the little bottles work out altho after a glue disaster today with a much bigger nozzle I don't think I'll be risking it any time soon! Those needle bottles are really kewl looking. I know how scraps get out of control I force myself to use them before I cut anything if they really don't work so it helps keep my piles tiny
