WOYWW #299

Hi everyone,

It's so good to have the internet back and be able to join in with WOYWW again - I've missed my weekly show-n-snoop!! Nip over to Julia's Stamping Ground to see what I'm on about!

Here's my workdesk as it looked first thing this morning ...

There are some signs of creative activity and in fact there are several things going on - the basket of goodies on the far left contains embellishments for pocket pages in progress, just to the right of that is the light box which is still out because I need to emboss hearts on 40 thank you cards - the last part of a friend's wedding stationery PHEW!! In the middle of the desk you can see the beginnings of a scrapbook page, but plonked down right on top of it is the STAR OF THE SHOW - my beautiful bag from fellow desker Lunch Lady Jan. Here's a closer look at those gorgeous details ...

Jan was selling some of her beautiful crafty creations for charity, so I decided to treat myself. This will be perfect for my portable crafting kit and this morning I was busy packing it with some fun little projects and crafty magazines to keep me busy when I'm in hospital for a few days next week. It has a zipped inside top and a couple of pockets which are really handy ...

So that's all the important stuff ready - I may just bung some knickers and a toothbrush in my pocket as well!

This time next week I will probably be sitting in the waiting room looking at my most glamourous in a fetching surgical stockings, silly slippers and surgical gown ensemble with my bum hanging out of the back - so I won't be able to play WOYWW. I have my fingers crossed that I will be allowed home on Saturday, because it will be my birthday!!!

Thanks for popping by, see you over at Julia's to check out what everyone else has been up to this week :o)

I hope it all goes well next week with your 'procedure'. It's a consolation that you have such a lovely bag with craft stuff in it for when you feel up to it.
I've only just realized that you are going to miss the big 300!
Have a great week (as much as possible),

That means your birthday is on the 7th? Mine is on the 6th! What are the chances? Hope your surgical procedure goes well and it's only a routine thing. That bag looks gorgeous! Jan is so good at this stuff! I'll bet you'll get some compliments about it in the hospital. Jan should have given you some business cards to distribute. Will think about you next week! Hope you'll get back on your feet in no time. Thanks so much for your visit! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle

As soon as I saw your photo, I knew it was a Jan bag. I am a lucky, proud owner of a Jan bag too! It will be a comforting thing to have with you next week, and I hope everything goes wonderfully for you. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #48

Hope you manage to cram loads into the bag for your hospital stay...and that whatever you're going in for goes smoothly. Why, oh why, are those bum revealing gowns still de rigeur? Surely there must be a better design somewhere to be found.....
Sending big hugs,

Hi Annie. Just the bag, let alone all those scrummy contents, will be enough to cheer you when in hospital They are rather dire places now we can't treat folk to flowers in there, aren't they?!
trusting all goes well for you, and that you will be able to celebrate your birthday on the right day.
Take care. God bless.
