Today I would like to show you the most beautiful bone folder EVER - in fact that is a misnomer, because it's made of wood, but if I say "bone folder" most crafters will know what I mean. This one is special because my son Tom made it for me ...
... and because it's made from a piece of wood which he has sanded and smoothed into a shape which fits perfectly in my hand and just feels wonderful to use. Thanks Tom :o)
I'm scheduling this post to publish itself whilst I'm in hospital - hopefully by the time you read this, I will be sitting by my bed with my giant craft bag keeping myself busy until they let me go home. They say it will be a few days, so my crafty bag is stuffed with all kinds of knitting, sewing, crochet, a brand new magazine, a kindle full of books, my iPad and the chargers for all my devices.
The beautiful bag was made my the lovely Jan - a fellow WOYWW Desker - who was making lots of craft goodies to sell for charity. I've wanted one of her gorgeous bags for ages, so I thought this was a perfect excuse to treat myself!
