Pocket Catch-Up

Hi everyone,

It's been an extremely busy few months and I haven't blogged for AGES - or indeed done very much to blog about - but it's time for a catch-up so brace yourselves for a little flurry!

Firstly, I have a couple of pocket letters to share with you. I'm really enjoying making these and it's even more fun recieving one in the post hehehe!

This one went to Louise back in June ...

It's really fun digging through your stash to find stuff you hope your pocket letter pal will love (it also makes you realise just how much you have!). I always include some washi samples, a confetti window and some diecuts I've run through my cuttlebug. For this one, I went for a combination of black and white splashed with bright pink and greens. I did some stamping and colouring in with a freebie stamp set which came on a magazine, and you may also spot some daisies and spectacles from my own Georgie stamp set.

This one went to Trina in July ...

Trina loves butterflies and the colour purple, which I decided to team with black, white and fresh minty greens. I especially enjoyed making the vellum envelope to fill with little flowers and the mini notebook which I decorated with a butterfly from my Georgie stamp set.

The back is very simple as you can see - just one piece of paper with a photographic print which I cut into pocket-size pieces - but there are extra little goodies hidden in each one!

Well that's the first of my flurry of catch-ups - now it's time to have a look at what everyone else has been up to whilst I've been away from Blogland!

Thanks for visiting today and I'll see you again soon :o)
