Hi Everyone,
I'm still working on my overdue pocket letters, catching up fast and really enjoying trying to create each one to suit the intended recipient. This one is for Allison, who loves black/white/brights and bling ...
With this in mind, I had a good old rummage through my drawers to find papers and embellishments which I hope she will like and somehow I seemed to end up channeling the 80s! I started with some patterned papers, including some gorgeous animal prints and acetate overlays, and dug out a stamp set with some fun quotes ...
... then I shopped my stash for all kinds of trinkets and doodads ...
... and threw in an assortment of alphas, stickers and washi tapes ...
Then it was just a matter of cutting the papers to fit the pockets, decorating them and filling them with bits and bobs. Which took me several hours if I'm honest - but they were very happy hours! :o) Here's how it turned out (front view) ...
... and the back view looked like this ...
I included some washi samples, some ribbons on a card fastened with a pretty pin, lots of punched and die cut shapes as well as ready-made stickers, tags, flowers and bling. The smiley face was punched from cardstock, glued into a bottlecap which I flattened in the Cuttlebug and finished with a clear epoxy sticker. I made another one of these with the letter A as a charm to add to the finished pocket letter.
I hope Allison will like this and enjoy using some of these goodies on her projects.
Thanks for popping in today, see you again soon :o)
