What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #352

Hi Everyone,

What a chilly day it is today - we have an east wind blowing here in Norfolk. Perfect day to stay indoors, show the world what's on my workdesk and have a little snout at what everyone else has been up to - hop over to Julia's Stamping Ground if you fancy joining in!

My desk is an absolute disgrace today, I should be far too embarrassed to share it really, but hey! we're among friends and fellow Deskers and I know they will understand how it gets. So, without further ado, here it is ...

... and you should see the rest of the room - this is the tidy part! :o)

But ooooh look at those gorgeous Caspari napkins and butterfly diecuts which arrived in the post from Amazon yesterday - I actually dribbled a bit when I was opening them ...

On the RHS is my latest effort for LifeBook 2016 - "five-minute flowers" which I must admit took me more lie an hour, but still, I really did enjoy the process, which I found very liberating ...

On the LHS, you can see a roll of waxed paper which also came from Amazon - it's to help with using intricate dies. I spent several hours at the weekend cutting shapes from ALL my dies, so they  ould be filed away on magnetic sheets and organised in such a way that I might actually be more  likely to use them. Here's a peek ...

It took AGES, but I was binge-watching Netflix at the same time, so it was quite enjoyable! I also went through ALL my punches and have made a start on my embossing folders. How did I accumulate so much STUFF?!

Well, that's it from me, I'm off for a snout around WOYWW World now - see you there! :o)

It's as black as hell over here in Wiltshire at the moment...seriously, it could be 9 at night, it's so dark! And now it's started hail stones. I'm so glad I'm not outside!! Your desk is bright and cheerful, just like the Spring we're supposed to be having, lol!!

wow, so organized, I started filling my stamps, but didn't quite finish yet. Funny, i start because no more space, created some space and then abandon it. Happy WOYWW Vicky #3

I love the look of all your goodies on your desk. They're going to be fun to work with. Well done sorting out your dies. I keep thinking about it then don't. I'm sure I could save myself hours if I just did it. Well Done You!. Barbxx #16

Who doesn't love the look of crafty stash? Thanks for sharing your new stuff, it looks lovely. We have snow in our bit of Norfolk, and it's bloomin' freezing, not very Spring like at all. Judith xx #32

I had no idea what you meant by RHS until I saw LHS, LOL! Love your watercolor painting! They probably took you that long because you worked much bigger than the lesson. They look fantastic though! Great that you can multitask in front of the telly. Binge-watching, LOL! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #34

I love it when Amazon arrives with parcels. I'm like a kid at Christmas (although I ordered it myself)
I really like your watercolor flowers. So what they took an hour. Looks like you did four,(or are they copies).
Thanks for visiting,
Have a good week,
Lisca

Loving your flowers - even though you say it took you over an hour they stilol have that fresh quickly done look. When I quickly saw the next pic I thought it was one of those chemistry stencils .... it was the spring clip from your box folder that threw me. Have a good week x Jackie 23

Don't ask me. If I knew how you accumulated, I'd have a clue as to why y room is feeling too small.....! The flowers are gorgeous, who cares whether they took five minutes or an hour...as long as you enjoyed the process!

Lovely flowers! Remind me of Spring which is much needed here. I keep telling Mum how cold it's been here and how we got another load of snow dumped on us (ggrrr). I suppose that's the reason she's never visited in the winter lol.

Just back from consulting Mr Google to see where Norfolk is. No wonder the wind from the East is cold! Maybe blowing straight off a fijord!. Messy desk you say? That comes with the territory I think. We are supposed to be in Autumn here and it will be 102 degrees over the weekend. Love the napkins ;D

Your flowers look are looking good it's hard to create in 5 min when your trying to get things exactly how you want them, but it's a great challenge to try. I have most of my dies in a book but I'm guessing you have a lot more then me to create a guide folder it will come in handy for sure hugs Nikki 4

Now that is such a cool idea and something I think I need to do... I need to find a way to sore my dies too. At the moment they are just in a box and I truthfully have no idea what I have. Same with my embossing folders. Seeing as though there is just no creativity maybe that is what I should be doing. Will get rid of some of my scraps too :D
