Best Friends

Hi Everyone,

Last Friday, my good friend Trina and I went off to Leeds for Scrapstars woohoo!! We'd been looking forward to it for months and we weren't disappointed :o) For a whole weekend, the most difficult decision we had to make was which photo to scrap and whether to have another piece of cake!

As always, I came back with lots of goodies and several UFOs as I am not the fastest scrapper! Here's one page I managed to finish during a class with the lovely Tracee Provis

Tracee showed us how to layer torn strips of patterned paper and fussy cut images from beautiful Bo Bunny papers to create this fun page, with some subtle stamping to add interest to the background, We glittered some chipboard pieces, added a a cork heart and finished with wood veneer words for the title and a touch of bling - easy peasy but so much fun to do :o)

Watch this space for the next couple of Scrapstars UFOs to be finished.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, see you again soon :o)

Oh lucky girl to have a weekend away just playing and eating. You learned at the feet of Miss Tracey too. How wonderful! Love the touches of blind on your layout. I always come home with UFO's as well.

Such a delightful page, Annie! I love hot air balloons! I've recently used them on one of my pages too! I really like the layering and the fun photo in this! It sounds like you had a wonderful time scrapping with your friends. I've never tried creating in a group setting and I'm not sure I could focus enough to get anything done!
