Hey You - GoGoGetaway April Challenge

Hi Guys,

The challenge for April over at GoGoGetaway is to be inspired by the word ...

"Abundance"

I decided to throw together an abundance of washi and watercolour to make a very colourful page featuring my lovely step-granddaughter Macy carefully holding her new little brother Finley ...

I also used some of my abundance of eyelets and a few items from my current Counterfeit Kit "Spring is in the Air". Here are some close-ups ...

Thanks to Claire from Scrappy Nerd UK for sharing lots of creative ideas for using washi tape - she has made a whole series of videos on her You Tube Channel. The great thing is that making this page has made me fall back in love with my eyelets and Cropadile and washi tapes.

Thanks for checking out my blog today. Why not enter the GoGoGetaway challenge yourself? You have until the end of the month - share your page on the FB page and you'll be entered in the Prize Draw :o)

See you again soon!

Fresh and fun and I can see me dusting off my cropodile very soon. Lovely work.

I'm right there with Zsuzsa; I love everything about this layout!!! The bursts of colour is so much fun. I love all those circles, the paint splats, and the creative way of using those eyelets. Remember when we had to have those, in every possible colour ☺. I've always only used mine on tags, or to lace ribbon through. Never as an embellishment on its own. Love it! I'm off to check out that YouTube channel. I need to put my washi tapes to good use. Great job. ♥♥♥

PS. Thank you for your comments on my Dream/Reality layout for CSI. I really appreciate your kind words.
