WOYWW #473

Hello Fellow Deskers and Bloggy Mates,

I hope you're all having a wonderful day out there in Blogland. I've been AWOL from my craft room for a while - too much other Stuff going on - but I'm back in the saddle now and I've missed my weekly fix of WOYWW, where we show the world What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday and then have a nosey around other people's crafty spaces to see what they've been up to this week. Visit our Hostess with the Mostest over at Stamping Ground to check out the details and join in.

Here's mine ...

I'm in the throes of putting together a little workshop for our craft group - we're doing a Craftathon for Breast Cancer on 15th September, check out the FaceBook page if you're interested.

Just behind me as I sit at this desk is my repurposed kitchen trolley ...

... which has now become my Cuttlebug Station - the baskets underneath are perfect to hold all the cutting plates, fat dies and embossing folders, and the Cuttlebug itself fits nicely on the tiled surface, with tools, shims and embossing mat stored in the drawer underneath.
I think I will use my dies more now it's easier to access the necessaries :o)

Thanks for visiting me today, I'll see you at Julia's!

Love Annie xxx

What a great solution! I do all my die cutting on my hands and knees on the floor with dies and die-cuts thrown all over the place. Sometimes that part of my room becomes a no-go zone until I tidy up. Your drawer system in the background looks so well-organised. I'm glad you were able to make it this week - I couldn't see you on the list, so I've linked you up. Happy #472 (it was the wrong number last week!) zsuzsa xx
That is a clever idea for your die cutter. I'm impressed. I bet it will save you in the long run, too. I am also quite impressed with your beautiful drawers and work station you have. Talk about organized!!! Happy WOYWW from #1.

Love how you've repurposed your kitchen trolley Annie. I have one which i use for the same thing. Brother Scan N Cut sits on top with the ebosser below. They can both be accessed on the spot and get a lot more use as a result. Those drawers behind the trolley look fabulous for organisation too. Have a good week. Sarah #19
Great use of your trolley, it makes it so much easier to move your die cutting machine to where you need it. You can take it anywhere now.
I'm so envious of your organised space, i'm surprised I can craft at all amongst my chaos.
Happy Crafting and all the best with you fabulous workshop.
Happy WOYWW Tracey #4

Well, that's a clever idea! A much better use than a kitchen trolley...what really caught my eye though were all those drawers behind the trolley - wow, I have storage envy, lol!!! I do love sets of drawers and would give me eye teeth for an antique apothecary's cabinet - one day maybe! Good idea having a craftathon for breast cancer, wish I wasn't so far away, I'd have joined in.

Morning Annie Great use of the trolley - and I'm sure you are right - having "under your nose" is the best way. I have put my Gemini into John's study, so not quite in my own space - but I have rather taken over that room now... oops!
Take care. God bless.

Everything, usually ends up becoming repurposed for my craftroom! LOL It looks pretty useful!
I have been missing, too from WOYWW lately, as we sold our house and moved.
Had to reorgaizie everything here, as I went from a large long room to a small bedroom sized room. Welcome back! #31

Such a lot of crafting interest and loveliness on your desk, Annie - and love the little trolley - I recently bought a little wire one and find it very useful. Thanks for sharing today - Hazel, WOYWW 472 #17 xx
Hi Annie, great to see you. That trolley is so useful. I have one of my machines on an old Lazy Susan which has proved really useful. Have a lovely woyww and happy crafting, Angela x22x

Great idea for the kitchen trolley - nothing puts me off doing something more than having to get equipment out. I love your storage drawers in the background too - I would so love to be that organised.
Have a great week,

Oh gosh, now I have drawer envy. My craft room is a disaster area most of the time. Great idea to host an event to fund raise for Breast Cancer; such a worthy cause. x
