Welcome to another Freebie Friday, when I show you what I made with one of those free cover gifts you get on the front of crafty magazines.
This time, I'm using a beautiful butterfly-themed kit from Crafts Beautiful Magazine. The kit included card blanks and die cuts as well as a gorgeous layering stamp set which I really enjoyed playing with. Here are some of the cards I made ...

My favourite way to use the stamp set was to stamp first with Distress Inks, activate with a water brush, then stamp the outline with black ink and finish with a shimmer pen for a bit of sparkle.
This next one was also very easy, and made use of the pretty packaging from the kit ...

This one was really easy but it's a fun design - I just scored one of the card blanks so that the top section folds back and then pulls out to reveal the stamped sentiment. Scraps of patterned paper add colour to the background and then I just layered up the die cuts from the kit ...
This next one was also very easy, and made use of the pretty packaging from the kit ...
The last one was an inside shadow box card - I haven't got fed-up with making those yet! - I heat embossed two different sentiments from the kit, one on the front and one on the inside ...
You can never have too many butterflies, can you?! :o)
