CSI #269 - Happy New Year and Happy Birthday!!

Hello Bloggy Friends,

CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration is turning 7 years old this month and there are some exciting changes afoot - read all about it on the CSI blog, where you'll also find all the CSI Detectives pages to inspire you.
The CSI Scrapbook Challenge FB page will now be the place where you can find all the clues you need to solve each Case File and where you can post your pages to be in with a chance of winning one of the fab prizes on offer each month.

Here's the first Case File for January -

No automatic alt text available.

If, like me, you like to follow the traditional clues, you'll find them in the first comment in the album for this Case File on the FB page. If not, just pull your own inspiration from the Scene above.

Here's how I solved this case -

This is my little step-granddaughter Macy, just after losing her first baby tooth.

I used LOADS of the traditional clues for this one -
  • Evidence: polka dots, floral pattern, chevron, stripes, banner, hearts, flowers, multi-coloured title, twine, decorative border, something hanging, bows, cursive font.
  • Testimony: I was KINDA prompted by the inspiration words "new, beginnings, wishes".
  • Scheme: all of the colours are here, plus a couple others pulled from the inspiration image.

A different page created by one of the CSI Detectives will be featured each day on the FB page, so keep an eye out for lots of inspiration. You can also check out Case File #270 - which I haven't made yet, but watch this space! :o)

Thanks for popping in today, see you again soon.

Love Annie xxx

CSI is still one of the most inspirational sites around and I'll always be grateful to Debbi for giving me a start in the on line scrapping community. Your work always seems to have a touch of magic and whimsy about it; lots of little bit and pieces, yet the photo remains the focus. Lubbaly, Jubbaly, x
