WOYWW # 502 - my collection of body parts!

Hello Fellow Deskers and Bloglanders,

It's Wednesday, time to hop over to Julia's Stamping Ground, link up and show everyone What's On Your Workdesk - I show you mine if you'll show me yours :o)

I've been mostly dining-table-crafting again this week - here you can see the various body parts I've been sorting into files ready to use for collages. My hairdresser kindly saves old magazines for me and I spend many a contented hour cutting and sticking - it's the perfect thing to do when you're too tired to feel creative, but you want to do something crafty, and I'll have them all ready to go when the arty-farty urge strikes me!

I'll be back to check out what everyone else has been doing this week when I get home from work this evening.

Thanks for visiting me today, happy WOYWWday!

Love Annie xxx

Collection of body parts LOL - looks better than it sounds. What on earth are you going to do with all those smiles and pouts? It will be interesting to find out! Have a lovely week, Annie! :)

Lol, Zsuzsa just said what I was thinking. Maybe it could be an idea for a new murder mystery TV programme :-). Actually, I think that the simple pleasure of cutting out is underestimated, I love doing it!

I love cutting up old magazine too - it's very relaxing and the images can be great starting points for pieces of work. I love that your specialised subject is body parts! I am wondering what you do with all the eyes you cut off - are they in a separate folder?
Hope you have a great week,

Interesting collection, Better to recycle the old magazines than to dump them. Have a lovely creative week and a happy woyww, Angela x10x

Great idea with the magazines Annie. I never let my husband put the Sunday supplements into the recycling until I've been through them for clippings. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2

I’m not in the least surprised that your craft area will contain a file filled with body parts. I only hope you use them. Having said that, the therapy from the cutting and sorting is good enough really!
