Good morning Fellow Deskers,
WOW!! this is the SIX-HUNDREDTH WOYWW, can you believe it! A special hello to my fellow deskers and dear bloggy friends and an extra special hello to our hostess Julia. Thank you so much for keeping us all together through thick and thin <3 xxx and long may it continue!
Anyway, here's my desk this week ...
I finally finished tidying my room and rediscovered/reorganised lots of stash I'd forgotten about, so I've been having another bash at jewellery-making and my current project is a little Christmas book, jus tthe titivating to do now. Also finished the Everlasting Advent Calendar, just in the nick of time ...
Each box has sweeties and one of my husband's "hilarious" jokes hidden inside. I made it out of old coffee boxes and hubby made the little boxes ...
That was the beginnings of the other one we made for the grandkiddies - hope they're enjoying it!
Another finished project was my textile self portrait for the Knitting and Stitching Show Self Portrait Competition. Check out the link to see all the entries - I have NO chance of winning, there are so many amazing entries, but I had fun and I was happy with how mine turned out in the end.
So that's it for now - I'm off to Julia's Stamping Ground to say hello and have snout around some other desks. Looking forward to "meeting" everyone on Saturday (assuming I can get my head around the techy stuff hehe).
Happy WOYWW-day!! :o)

After Saturday's giveaway draw, I shall be uploading the patterns to my OneDrive so you'll be able to get them from there if you like. I'm glad you like the beginning of the cat throw. It's a really fun project but I need to get my skates on to get it done in time for Christmas!! It should co-ordinate really well with the kitties, as does the new furniture!
Hope to see you on Saturday's Zoom session.
Happy WOYWW 600,

Your book is coming along nicely! I love lace (I hoard lace!) Maybe following your blog will help me begin to use my lace!
I don't know much about Advent Calendars but yours looks interesting!

The advent calendar is terrific, I made one from card for two of my grandkids a few years ago. I put sweets in the boxes (which were all separate) and they had to find them around the house, then once the sweets were eaten, they built the boxes up into a pyramid type tower on the mantelpiece!
Happy WOYWW 600 and Stay safe!
