WOYWW #629 - Long Time No See!

 Hello Fellow Deskers,

Remember me?! It's been almost two months since I linked up with What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, or in fact posted anything at all on my blog, so I'm looking forward to a catch-up with what everyone's been up to. I hope everyone's ok in these peculiar times we're still going through. Join us over at Stamping Ground, where our Hostess Extraordinaire Julia always offers a friendly welcome.

Here's my desk today, where I've been playing with the contents of my June ScrawlrBox - the challenge for this month was "Ethereal Entity", and you're supposed to use only the contents of the box, but I cheated and used different paper because I needed more space to play in.

Right, I'm off to Julia's to link up now - see you there!

Annie xx

I don't think using a different kind of paper qualifies as "cheating" LOL! It looks amazing - love the pink and blue together with the drippage! I was just thinking the other day that we hadn't seen you in a while - so glad that you're back! Happy WOYWW! xx

Good to see you back, and still creating beauty! have a good week. Helen #1
You draw and paint SO well. This is a gorgeous face. I don't think that's cheating, either, since you needed larger paper than what was in the box. I'm in love with your desk/ You have everything you need right in front of you. Happy WOYWW from # 5.

You’re speaking to another ‘rule bender’ here, lol so I applaud you going off piste re the paper!! I think the outcome is rather beautiful and fits the ethereal prompt very well. I’m glad to see you on the desks today, have been wondering how you are.

DOesn't seem like cheating to me as it is only the surface you changed Annie. Love what you are working on and good to see you again. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #4

Great to see you Annie, I hope all is well with you. Not sure that anyone involved would even notice your change of paper, I think we’re all too breathtwken by the image, it’s gorgeous and works a treat for the prompt. Would have had me running in circles hinting about impossible prompts I can tell you! I was going to ask if they were radiant pearls or H2Os, but I see from your description that they’re another glorious glittery pearly type of paint. In your hands, thee resources are just fab.

Happy Very Belated WOYWW and Welcome Back. I am catching up with blogs on this quiet Monday morning. Wow, that is a stunning project. Whilst reorganising my craft room in readiness for the arrival of new Ikea cube storage, I found one Scrawl box and one Artful box that I hadn't even started to use. Both have lovely pens in them, so those pens will be added to my collection when I start to sort out the contents of each 'cube'. Ali x #24
