Doing Pennants! Boho Bunting Weeks Four, Five, Six and Seven.

Oops!! I forgot to post pictures of the last FOUR weekly boho bunting pennants. I'm really enjoying these - the fabrics from the Bazaar scrap bags are so colourful and gorgeous and I'm learning new techniques as I go along ...

For example, I've learned how to add mirrors with Shisha embroidery and tried stitches I'd never heard of, such as Palestrina stitch. I've particularly enjoyed turning scraps into beautiful things, like the tatty tassels you can see in the photo above and the boho beads I made this week, which you can see in the picture below ...

If you would like to see how these came together, check out the Boho Bunting playlist on my YT channel.

Thanks for popping in today, see you again soon.

Ah Annie, so lovely to see your creativity with a needle and thread. A adore the colour combos you use and learning about a stitch called Palestrina. The Boho beads are a delight. Go well, you are so talented.

I've enjoyed watching your stitching projects on YouTube. Wondered if you have made your own pincushions? I've got a couple of pincushion posts on my blog -- one was an idea from the Missouri Star Quilt YouTube channel. I loved the idea and made a container pincushion for each lady in my husband's family and mine for Christmas plus a few for special friends. I purchased the containers from the thrift store, washed them up and then I took them to our gifts exchange and let the gals pick out the one they liked best. Have a great day!
