Say Cheese!
Based on a sketch by Lisa Saunders for the April Scrap365 sketch challengehttp://scrap365mag.com
- I had hung on to these little snaps of my boys for years, not really very good photos but their little noses look so cute!!!
Anyway, I had a lovely time with lots of cuttin and stickin and inkin and discovered that the Cuttle bug does an EXCELLENT job of squishing beer bottle tops - all KINDS of ideas to try out with those...The photos weren't brilliant quality and had lots of dark distracting stuff in the background, so I cut around the shape of the boys (really carefully as I'm a bit superstitious about cutting bits of them off!), and then mounted them on plain white card matted on black and just added little marks with a pen.The patterned paper pieces were all hand cut and layered on black card to make them 'pop' out. I used my Cricut for the title letters, which were also layered on black card and shaded with Rangers Distress Inks using a stencil brush. Speech bubbles were cut with the Cricut.
