Hello and welcome back to my craft room blog. Decided to give my busy head a rest today with a really quick page in my Wreck This Journal. The prompt was " press leaves and other found things here", but I didn't really fancy doing that, so I just got inpired by "leaves" and did a negative painting of overlapping leaves -  With the negative painting technique, you start with the lightest layers in the foreground and work backwards. I used four colours of acrylic paint and finished with black and white coloured pencils. If you would like to see a speed-through of the process, click here for the video .  Hello, and welcome back to my craft room blog :) So, I haven't done too well at catching up with my blog, but it's the start of another week, so let's try again!  Here's another one from a couple of months back -  This was my first time joining in with Prompt Squad and I was so glad I did - they're all so welcoming and supportive and Jasmine Todd , who hosts this challenge, is just brilliant. Click on the link to find out how to join in yourself - everyone's welcome.  For this month, the prompt was "Space Adventure". At first, I felt a bit daunted by this, but in the end I had a great time creating this galaxy background, with the dumpy little space person (guess who?!), using gouache.
