Lime Green and PURPLE!!!

It's Week Three of Summer of Color over at Twinkle Twinkle, where the lovely Kristin is giving us a new and gorgeous colour combo to play with every week for six weeks. The difference this year is that we all get to vote for the next option - can't wait to find out what is in store next but we'll have to wait until tomorrow.

If you fancy having a go, it's not too late to join in. You can create anything you like as long as you use the colours and one of the best things about SOC is the variety - everything from nail art to ATCs to cupcakes to photography is fair game.

Each week Kristin puts together a fabulous prize in the chosen colours and you can link up your project for a chance to win - bonus!!!

Actually I'm a bit late to go in the draw for this week, but you can link up and join in anyway so that's what I'm going to do.

So, without further ado, here are my Lime Green & Purple journal pages

This picture doesn't show the details too well, but you get the gist! If you click on the image it will enlarge which might help a bit. This started out as a hardback novel which I picked up in a charity shop and each week I'm sticking a couple of pairs of pages together with gesso to give me a firm base to work on, and then letting rip with whatever media I can find in the right colours - brilliant fun, and something I've been meaning to do for the longest time... so thanks again to Kristin for the inspiration.

Here are my previous two pages

Week One - Citron Green and Turquoise

Week Two - Hot Pink and Orange
Thanks very much for checking out my pages - please let me know what you think of my first ever art journal!

Cheerio for now, see you again soon
