Hi Everyone,
I have another class layout from Go Go Getaway to show you. This one's a double spread from a class called "Blocked Out" with the talented Niki, one of the Go Go Girls.
Niki showed us how to create beautiful and unique embellishments by using paint and glitter to decorate laser-cut wood shapes. It was so satisfying, I will definitely be trying it again.
Here's my finished double-page spread ...
The wood pieces look so much better IRL. We used tape to mask off part of each shape, then applied the gorgeous Starlights paints. After allowing them to dry, we added a line of very fine glitter to some of them. I could have sat and done that all day - I also glittered my hair, my jeans, the floor around me and my friend Trina sitting next to me :o)
The photos were matted on little stacks of pp, and then we did some "futty-cussing" to add fun details and finally those gorgeous Thickers to create the title.
Oh and those gorgeous lovelies in the photos?? My niece Bex and her Mum, my sister Sarah - I think this playful page reflects the fun they always have together.
