I've been keeping with my December Daily much better than I thought I would, but haven't had time to share them for a few days ... soooo .... here's Day Six ...
Our Veg Box was delivered and included a "sprout tree" - yum! My kind of Christmas Tree - one you can eat :o) This was the day I started to think about decorating the house - we don't do a lot, but there are a few special things I like to put out and I add to our little collection every year. First to go up was the cute mini stocking crocheted by Nancy at GoGoGetaway - there was one for each of us on the day we made our December Daily books.
On Day Seven, I spent an entire ten minutes putting up the decorations ...
The box frame and the wreath of paper cones I made at a workshop last year with lovely Karen, our local Stampin' Up! lady. The garland strung across my dresser is made from a Hobby Craft kit, it has felt gingerbread men and gingham hearts and I added bright red and green buttons. The red spikey things are "Polish Stars" which I made last year out of scrap paper from a YT vid. And the most exciting to me are the handsome Nutcrackers - they were a real bargain from B&M, which I brought home and distressed a bit (in a good way!). I've loved nutcrackers since I was a little girl and these have working jaws, even the little ones :o)
Well, I think that's enough for one post - watch this space for the next thrilling installment!
Thanks for visiting me today, see you again soon.
Love Annie xxx
