WOYWW #473 - Pom-Pom Pile-up

Hellow Fellow Deskers and Bloglanders,

It's Wednesday again already - how on EARTH did that happen?! So it's time for "I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours" - hop on over to Julia's Stamping Ground to read all about it and join in if you dare! :o)

Here's mine today, not my usual desk but the dining-room table which I've commandeered for pom-pom production ..

My mission is to turn all the accumulated stash of yarn into pom-poms for a party garland. As you can see, I'm doing pretty well - at least half, if not two thirds of the yarn has been transformed into pom-pom gold. I feel like Rapunzel.

It's good to have something easy to dip into when I have a few minutes spare though.

I'l be working when this is publishes itself tomorrow, but I'll catch up over the next few days - can't wait to see what everyone else has been up to this week :o)

Thanks for popping in to see me today, see you again soon!

Love Annie xxx

Lovely to see you Annie, and am loving the idea of a Pom Pom garland. Even the words Pom Pom make me happy - remember how Rowan Atkinson used to say the name Bob in Black Adder? I have the same sense of fun over Pom Pom!! I see you’ve got proper Pom Pom production equipment too, no cut up cereal boxes here, so don’t forget Rapunzel, we need to see it in all its completed glory when done!

Hi Annie, love the idea of a pompom garland, it's something different. Great use of odds and ends of wool. Have a great week. Sarah #5
You are on a roll. Although not hard to make, the pom poms are time consuming and fiddly. You have my complete appreciation for the time you have spent on these. Happy WOYWW from #3.

I've made a couple of pompoms in my lifetime, but never as many as you have in just a short period of time. The colors are amazing, and will certainly make spectacular strands of garland. Happy WOYWW and Blessings!

That's a fabulous idea - the garland is going to look amazing. A friend of mine is making a bedroom rug in large pom poms - I never knew there were so many things you could do with them!
Have a great week and I look forward to seeing your finished garland.
