WOYWW #500

Hello Fellow Deskers and Friends out there in Blogland,

WOW!! 500 is a big number isn't it?! I have been AWOL from WOYWW for weeks, and pretty much from any kind of blogging except for posting my pages for CSI - but here's hoping that things will calm down a bit this year and I'll have more time for crafty stuff and blogging again. I do have LOTS of plans and new things to try this year :o)

If you want to find out all about WOYWW, just pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground, where you can link up and show the world What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

This past couple of weeks I've been doing a lot of crafting at the dining table. Here's what I've been working on ...

These are my first attempts playing with YUPO paper which my son gave me for Christmas. I've used alcohol inks and India inks and now I'm doodling over the top with black and white pens, very therapeutic and I'm able to binge-watch Netflix and YT at the same time - perfect!!

Here's a closer look, not sure I'm really happy with it but I'm calling it done and will probably cut it into smaller pieces to create backgrounds and book covers and such ...

What have you been up to in your creative space this week? I'll be off to Julia's to check out everyone else's doings as soon as I get home from work today. Thanks for visiting me today, see you again soon!

Hi Annie. I wish you a very happy and blessed new year. Great colouring - but excuse my ignorance - what is yupo paper?? How is it different?? I see it mentioned quite often, but don't have a clue...
Take care. God bless.

A gorgeous piece of art and how lovely of your Son to gift you some Yupo paper (oxymoron right there) for Christmas. You've really put it through it's paces and come up with something special.....crafting and binge watching net fix....now that's a good idea. Happy New Year x

This looks fantastic, Annie! So glad you were able to make #500! Sorry I didn't spot it earlier - I had to be back at work on Thursday and it knocked me out of the ball game until just now. Hope you'll be able to join in more in the new year and I look forward to seeing your creative plans come to fruition! Best wishes for 2019! xx

Great to see you Annie! great that even amongst all the work and stuff that gets in the way, you can still doodle like a pro...good grief this is just lovely! so did you apply the colours before you even knew that it would be florals? I can’t get my head around your calling it doodling! a very happy New Year to you, and yep, more time please!
