Hi Everyone!
Hopefully you've arrived here via Julene's blog, but if not, you should make sure you pop over to the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog and start at the beginning so you don't miss anything!
I'm really excited to be joining in with the CKC Blog Members' Blog Hop this month and I can't wait to show you what I've been making with my first ever Counterfeit Kit! Here's a quick peek ..
Our inspiration for January was the Hip2bSquare December Kit and the Oh Deer Me December Embellishment Kit - check out the original CKC post for details.
I had great fun going through my stash to pull my "Winter Mixture" kit together - see this post for details of all the goodies. Then I added a collection of embellishments which I called "Liquorice Allsorts" - check out this post to see how I made my DIY 'bellies!
The projects I want to show you today were inspired by Challenge #2 - use a container somewhere on your project ...
Here's the first one, a scrapbook page about my sweet little step-granddaughter Macy, who will be three years old in February ...
The design is based on a sketch by Els Brige for the January Scrap365 Sketch Challenge ...
... and here's the container - a tiny little sweetie jar from a Frog Dog kit, which I've filled with pink glass beads ...
The glitter Thickers I had put in my kit were plain silver, but I coloured them with Adirondack Alcohol Ink in Watermelon, to give them a pretty hint of pink ...
After this, I had some leftover bits and bobs on my desk ...
... so I dug out a partially-used Lunagirl collage sheet with some pretty teacup images - a cup's a container right?
... and I made a card with a matching gift bag and tag ...
The base for the bag was just one of the brown paper carriers you get when you go to the buffet car on the train these days - I knew it would come in handy for something!
Well, that's all folks! Hope you liked my projects - now it's time to hop on over to One Scrap Happy Momma
Thanks for popping in, see you again soon :o)xxx

I have watched the CKC site for a while and want to play along one day but as yet have always found myself distracted with other things...
Full of inspiration!
