Crafty UFOs and Winky Wonky Owls

Hi Everyone,

Whilst my workroom has been Otherwise Occupied for a couple of weeks, I've been catching up on a few Unfinished Objects which have been lurking in my crafty tool bag for ages ...

These were all made from those little freebie kits you get on the front of crafty magazines. I love them!
Just one magazine had all this with it ...

They made up into some cute gift boxes ...

... with lots of tags and embellishments which I have Big Plans for once I can get into my workroom ...

The kit for the hanging star came with pretty much everything you need except a needle ...

My favourite was the quirky bunny ...

I had passed the magazine on to a friend, so no longer have the template, but managed to make it up as I went along. Very cute that one.

Then there was the sweet little birdy, which again including everything except a needle ...

Probably the least successful but the most fun was the owl keyring, which looked really cool in the photo on the pack ...

... but somehow turned out a bit scary when I had a go ...

hehehehe bless - only his creator could love him! I was planning to give this to a friend, but I think maybe not after all! The leftovers didn't go to waste, because I made a few crocheted flowers with them.

Well done you! I love the little bird and the very pretty boxes. And all for free with a magazine - even better.
