WOYWW 291

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas - can't believe it's been a whole week since the last What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday and now it's the last Wednesday in 2014! Where did a whole year go?!!??

If you love to check out other people's crafty spaces, wander over to Julia's Stamping Ground and join us - check out workdesks all over the world and link up to show us what's happening on yours today.

My craft room is still otherwise occupied at present, but I've commandeered part of the dining room table and Carried On Crafting :o) This was yesterday evening ...

... I decided it was time to crack on and finish my friend's wedding invites, as I've promised she can collect them next week - EEEEK!!! A few hours later I had this satisfying pile almost finished ...

They definitely look better en masse - what my son calls "the cheerleader effect"!! When they're all done, I'm going to put them in a pretty keepsake box and tie a ribbon around it, maybe make a special tag or something - maybe they can use the box to store souvenirs of their Big Day.

This morning, just when I thought Christmas was all over, a special delivery arrived - a late Christmas present from my son Tom ...

... a brilliant bag to stash all my markers in - mine are Kaiser not Copic, but they fit perfectly (and room for a few more I think) ...

Finally, here are a few more objects on my makeshift workdesk today ...

Big Hairy Son on the left pootering, DH on the right doing the Sunday Times Christmas Crossword, along with a flock of PCs and two glasses of Bucks Fizz - well, it IS New Year's Eve!

We're looking forward to a night in with Jools Holland - whatever you're up to, have fun and I'll see you in 2015 :o)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Annie xxx

I am loving your Copic holder! And your DR table looks a lot like our LR did when family was here for Christmas. Everyone had a tablet or iPad and several laptops besides! Should have gotten a photo of all the electronics!

Lovely work and I admire the fact that you can use one of those guillotine cutters! I had one for about a minute and it had to go! Much festive fun in the new year for you!

Now you only have to add in a jigsaw and that could be our dining room table too, complete with hairy son!!!! My sewing machine has got dust on cos I've not used it for a couple of weeks...am going to remedy that when everything's back to normal next week :-)
Happy New Year, thanks for all the fab comments and support in 2014!

Ha, I laughed at the hairy son and the flock of laptops! It's the same everywhere!
That Copic's storage is awesome!Great present. For a minute i thought it was the box for the wedding invites but when I read on I saw what it was.
Great that you have (nearly)finished the wedding invites. Now you can concentrate on new things.
Thank you for stopping at mine and for the lovely comment,
Happy New Year to you and yours,

So I wasn't the only one posting photos of family members! I can't believe your son is the same person as one of the little boys on your Scrapbook page you posted a couple of weeks ago! He got you a lovely present as well! I wonder when my boy's going to be old enough to buy me presents! Well done on the wedding invites - a keepsake box sounds like a good good idea! Have wonderful weekend before everything returns back to normal and thanks for visiting my blog earlier. All the best for 2015, Annie!
Now that is one big bag of markers Lol! Thanks for the visit and Happy New WOYWW Year, Angela x
