WOYWW #401

Hello Everyone,

I missed WOYWW #401 as I was away last week, but I plan to do some catch-up snouting later on today when I get home from work. Hopefully the lovely Zsuzsa from Inky Dinky Doodle will link me up over at Julia's Stamping Ground - why not join in the fun and show us what's been happening on YOUR workdesk this week?!

Here's mine ...

...on which you can see evidence of the fatal consequences of too much tidying - in a fit of enthusiastic organising, I managed to knock my treasured 1/12th scale husband and wife off of a high shelf, breaking both the lady's legs and decapitating her husband. Hopefully, by the time t=you read this, I will have performed miraculous surgery and they will be restored to full health :o)

Thanks for popping in today, I'll catch up with everyone over the next few days - see you at Julia's!

Oh my Annie I would have been heartbroken. Hope you managed to get them fixed. What glue do you use to do it. I have also had a tidy up... more like and re organise. My promise was I was NOT going to buy more stash. Sadly I have already broken that... but I am not buying as much as I normally would... well that is what I keep telling myself. The good news is that at least I am creating again and using up some stuff. :D :D :D have a fab week Annie.
LOL, what absolute carnage on your desk, Annie! I'm sure you can repair them with some glue and they'll be as good as new. Sorry you missed #400! But #401 is just as cool! Got you in nice and early this week - I have yet to write my post. See you later! :))

If you love those pieces enoguh to repair them, then the damage becomes part of their history and it won't matter. You will still love them! TFS! Happy WOYWW! Anne #10

A lesson we can all take from your bad experience is not to over tidy things! So long as there is enough room to work by, without things spilling on top of your work, that's all that is needed. I hope you are successful in fixing the small people. All the best, EmbroidRage #8 x

I'm so sorry about your figurine. That's why I hate dusting. What kind of glue are you using to fix the figurine? I have a 2 pieces of a clay nativity scene that my daughter accidentally knocked over when dusting one year. (Now we have an orphan Baby Jesus.) She was devastated, bless her heart. It used to be my mom's, so I haven't had the heart to throw the pieces away. Anyway, happy PPF!

Hi Annie, it's the sort of accident that is so easily done. You must have been part gutted, part angry with yourself. I know I always am. Have the rest of a lovely week, and thank you for so many good wishes. Hugs, Shaz Xxx #4

Oh dear, Annie, what a sad thing to happen to your treasured husband & wife. I hope by the time you read this that you will, indeed, have performed a surgical miracle and they are happily restored to their former selves. Hope you've had a good weekend. Elizabeth x #21
