WOYWW #368

Hello Fellow Deskers and Bloggy Friends,

It'sWhat's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - time to share what's happening on mine and check out other Deskers' crafty doings. You're very welcome to join us - just pop over to LLJ's to link up.

Lady June is trying to put her sunshine hat on today, I think it must have got lost in the bottom of her wardrobe or something - very strange summer weather we're having so far this year, just the odd tantalising glimpse and then it's gone again, most peculiar.

We've been away in beautiful Cornwall, catching up with friends and family, and of course I had to take a few artyfartysupplies with me and get a little crafty time in whenever/wherever there was an opportunity! Here's What WAS On my Workdesk LAST Wednesday (but I couldn't blog it) ...

This was a project I was working on for Life Book 2016 - check out the finished result here if you're interested. Note the brolly there - essential piece of kit!

Another temporary workdesk somewhere between Cornwall and Paddington ...

How cute is that felt kitty? And with a suitcase too, how appropriate! Unfortunately, my plans to make her up during the journey were thwarted by the fact that my scissors were in my suitcase, buried under a luggage avalanche. Sigh. Best laid plans and all that.

Home again, and making the most of the sunshine yesterday, with some al fresco crafting ...

I still have a couple more ATCs from the swap to show you. This gorgeous birdy from Neet ...

How cute that WOYWW is written into his hatband!! And this one from Fiona ...

It has a lovely soft, dreamy feel to it. I love them both, thanks ladies! Here are all my ATCs together in my special folder ...

Don't they look amazing?! Just like us Deskers - all so different and yet with something in common.

Well I'm off to link up at Lunch Lady Jan's Fabric Frenzy now - and I'll be back later for a good old nosey about. See you there :o)

Wonderful that you were able to create while away, Annie! I find it hard to create anywhere else but at home with all my supplies at my disposal. I really must try to take a small kit with me next time we're away and learn to use what I have! You did make the most of your limited supplies! Love your little al fresco crafting area - it hasn't been warm enough here to sit outside in the past couple of weeks, but they're predicting good weather on the way! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #29 (right behind you on the list!)
Yes I have got ATC envy especially as I didn't join in this year. I wont make that mistake again. I will pinch the idea from the life book and develop if for a project at the Hospice so thanks for that. Have a good week x Jackie 22

I'm so glad you had a good week in Cornwall! I'd love to go back to St Ives again but would definitely go by train rather than face that enormous drive. You need some sort of small travel kit for crafty use....hmmm, that gives me an idea.
Hugs, LLJ xxxx

Hi Annie, glad the holiday went well. Isn't Cornwall the most glorious area? We love it, especially around Boscastle & Tintagel. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #7 xxx

I'm glad you had a lovely holiday. I always try to take something crafty with me on holiday. Having limited supllies is part of the challenge and the fun.
Yes, you have a great collection of ATCs. I'm so glad I participated.
The life book page of Charlie Chaplin looks great. I just went to the link and saw the whole page. Good therapy.
Thanks for visiting earlier,
Happy WOYWW,

Sounds like you had a wonderful time away. I love the lifebook page you did. Fantastic. You sound so well organised with projects to do while away. I have such good intentions. I packaged up projects last year to take with me when I visited Mum and brought them all back - didn't do one of them.

Have a great week

A girl after my own heart with a travelling craft kit. We don't often go out in the evening when away so it is essential I have some crafting to do - are you the same? Nice to see your garden in the sunshine.

Love the cute new ATC's you got and I agree with the WOYWW in the hatband, how creative and Fiona's ATC is dreamy, makes you want to take a hold and fly off with it! I really like your ATC folder so that you can do a flip through and see all the amazing creativity from all over! I love to see the inspiration that comes from inside to be reflected in yummy colors and textures! Lovely! Happy Wednesday, Felicia #40

good for you to work outside, I am fearful of papers flying, sun shining into my eyes, and falling asleep with all the fresh air. xoxox Donna #4
