WOYWW #477 - Playing Out

Hello Fellow Deskers and Blogland Mates,

It will be Wednesday when this publishes itself, the day when we congregate over at Julia's Stamping Ground to show the world what's going on in our crafty spaces this week and check out what everyone else has been up to.

With the amazing summer we're enjoying here in the UK, I've been doing a lot of al fresco crafting again. Here's a page in progress in my art journal, inspired by one of the Art Journal Summer School lessons ...

I've just taken the picture early on Tuesday morning - it's my day off, so I had time for some cutting and sticking with my First Breakfast :o)
Hopefully, the lovely Zsuzsa will spot this tomorrow and kindly link up for me (thank you Zsuzsa), if not, I'll nip over to Julia's after work - see you there!

Love Annie xxx

If anyone's interested to see what I made during Week One of AJSS, check out this blog post.

This makes me want to get out and do al fresco too! The problem is our garden table is in permanent sunshine and it is unbearably hot there - I'm hoping it will just get a tad cooler at some point - not much, just a little. Some clouds would be nice too. Have a good day at work, Annie - I'm off soon too! xx

Love the journal background Annie. What a great way to use up patterned paper pads. I will have to have a go at that. Hope it's not too hot for you at work. Zsuzsa obviously linked you up, because here you are lol. Have a great week. Sarah #13

Al fresco crafting is the way to go! Or sitting in my kitchen extension with all the windows open in a lovely breeze :-D. I'm not built for heat like this and pity those poor folk who have to commute in London, I'm SO glad that's not me! Those pages are fab, love the colours and patterns!
Hugs LLJ 11 xx

Morning Annie. Those pages are just so redolent of the summer we are having - make me smile. Well done on being able to work outside.
Take care. God bless.

It seems everyone is having hot hot sun except me. He is actually out this morning but I am stuck inside cleaning in readiness for visitors. Hope you pass your sunshine to me and I will pass some of my non-sun weather.
Love those journal pages - like a pretty patchwork quilt.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
I love the gentle curves you created in this journal. The way you placed the images together is brilliant. Sorry to mention this, but I am sitting in my air conditioned office. My craft room is slightly warmer, but not much. I pity you, but am sure you are more comfortable working outside than in right now. Happy WOYWW from # 1.

Hi Annie, love those pages! Fab selection of papers, go so well together. Way too hot to go out in my garden, not enough shade anywhere. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 XxX

Love the sight of your summer desk. Love the discipline in having a bag of kit, rather than leaping up every five minutes and not getting anything done. Love the idea of your first breakfast. Now that’s what a day off is about. (I know you didnt stay there all day, it’s too good to be true when you have a day off work, but let’s pretend!!)
