Hi everyone,
I've been a bit poorly for a few days, so there hasn't been much action on the scrappin and bloggin front, but I wanted to share these pics we took on my birthday a couple of weekends ago.
We decided to have a totally self-indulgent weekend away to celebrate, so we booked three nights at the Beechwood Hotel in North Walsham, and it was FABulous! Here's our room, with a four poster bed ...
... a beautiful bathroom ...
... and French doors opening onto the garden. We were thoroughly spoilt - the service was impeccable, the menu was delicious, the weather was unseasonable warm and sunny ... perfect!
We saw the seals at Horsey Gap - I couldn't believe that we were able to sit just a few feet away from them as they basked in the spring sunshine ...
On the way home, we stopped at The Range so that I could buy some double-sided tape and blades for my craft knife. I forgot the tape, but I did get all of this, which I really neeeeded ...
I love these wooden frames from the Curiosity Corner range by Dovecraft ...
... and these paper flowers, which were only £1 per pack (so I bought five) ...
... here are the blades I actually went in for, as well as the sewing kit and such from the hotel bathroom (because I like the vellum envelopes) and these gorgeous stars hand-cut from birch bark were only 10p each - beautiful!
Well, it was my birthday :o)xxx
