With only an hour to go, I've left it very late to post my tag for this week's theme over at Tag Tuesday, which was "Feathers" but I figured better late than never ...
It is just a quick ink sketch (I used Micron pens 01 and 005) and then I used my ancient watercolour paintbox to add some colour.
The inspiring words are a quote from Emily Dickinson ...

I love your feather, Annie! I've just posted a feather myself, which was part of my LifeBook assignment! What a wonderful coincidence! I love the subtle colours in yours and the quote is beautiful as is your handwriting! I still struggle with mine, but I've just ordered some drawing ink and will try calligraphy. Maybe if I draw the letters instead of writing them, I will like it more.
